Timna Medovoy is a peace and conflict educator with a strong track record in non-profit program design and management, organizational development and facilitation. She has nearly a decade of experience working in academic experiential learning programs focused on conflict affected regions and spent six years serving as the Middle East Program Coordinator for the Olive Tree Initiative. During her tenure there, she designed and led international experiential learning programs for approximately 250 students and scholars, managed local staff and international logistics and conducted program evaluation. Following the Arab Spring, Timna spent a year in Cairo studying and conducting independent research. Thereafter, she completed her MA in Conflict Research, Management and Resolution at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with an emphasis on trauma studies, and is pursuing additional post-graduate studies in psychology and coercive control. Timna has been based in Jerusalem for the past six years where she has also supported the work of local grassroots and non-profit organizations.
